Really Strange Food!



Please allow me to paraphrase this saying; one man poison is another man favourite food lol. I guess you will be wondering why the phrase was used here.
Have you taken time to find out what type of food people around the world eat? If you do you will be amazed what you will find out.
For those of you who have a lot of things on their mind I have some research about weird food people eat.
Here are six strange food eaten all around the world

Baby mice wine (China)           
   
 






This is a traditional chinese drink. It is also as health tonic. The mice are taken from their mother and left to drown and ferment. It believe to cure liver diseases and asthma.

Balut (Philippines)








A balut is a developing duck embryo that is boiled and eaten. It is a Philippines food and is mostly eaten in countries of south eastern Asia.

Beondegi(Korea)








Beondegi means pupa one of the life cycle of an insect. It is a popular Korean cuisine. Beondegi are boiled or steam. It is sold in restaurant, by street vendor and drinking establishment.

Witchelty Grub (Australia)
  






The grub is a larvae of a month and it is usually found in central Australia. It is also called a bush food. They are found in roots of witchetty bush blood wood tree.

Fried Spider (Cambodia)







Fried spider is a Cambodian delicacy. This spiders are bred in hole in the ground. It is fried in oil.
