Acid Forming Food




If you were asked a question, are the foods you eat healthy or not what would your answer be?

In the world today people don’t really care if the food they eat are lacking in nutrient. People are so busy that we rely on manufactured and on instant meals or fast food as some will call it. With the advancement of modern day technology we spend lesser time preparing a healthy food. Even when we have little time to prepare our meal our modern equipment kills all the nutrients in the food and makes them unhealthy.

It is important we take time to find out the damaging effects that some of the foods we eat do to our bodies and health.

Acid Forming Food

Acid forming food are; cooked foods, oily food, junk and processed food, flour and sugar products, fried food, animal protein, soft drink and dairy products.

Eating too much of these food is very harmful. When too much acid forming foods are eaten they cause thick blood which also means acidic blood. This thick blood slows down the movement of nutrient to all parts of the body. Over time it starts causing health issues.

  •  It increases the blood pressure level which can lead to stroke, sugar level and hormone level.
  •  It increases weight gain which can lead to obesity, type 2 diabetes and heart diseases
  •   Osteoarthritis
  •   Osteoporosis
  •    Rheumatoid and Gout
Alkaline Forming foods

Alkaline forming foods are whole fruits and vegetables and certain whole grains, which have low caloric density.

It is important to consume at least 60% alkaline food in your diet to maintain sound health.

It is not so easy reducing the acid forming food we eat on the daily, but it is equally important to remember that we all want to live long. So you need to strike a balance between Acid and Alkaline food.
