Do you love eating carrot? Hmm, I shouldn’t not ask that. The question I should be asking is what do you know about the carrot you eat?
For a start we know bunnies like carrot because they are sweet, it comes in type and different varieties have its seasons. Really but we get to eat them all the time. Yes we do, and it is seasonal. Carrots are vegetable and like all vegetables it has a time when it is plant and harvested. Carrots are planted in early spring and are harvested at late spring and planted again in late summer.

Insect meal, The Next Alternative Food Source

Have you ever taken a fruit and as you were eating it you pulse to look at it and behold you see a maggot in it. What will your reaction be? Would you continue eating it or get very irritated and throw it away. I guess a lot of people will just simply throw it away. But the truth about it is that we eat insect without knowing that we do. While some are aware, but what can they do about it than just simply ignore it.

Insects are excellence choice of protein. It contain all the amino acids our body needs, the protein it contains is often higher than that of meat, pork, mutton, fish and chicken. They are excellence source of minerals, vitamins and polyunsaturated fats. They are also high in iron and zinc.
There are 1909 edible species of edible insects that man can eat as an alternative source of food. There is need to enlighten people that most of the food contain bugs in them. We try to remove the much we can but not completely. There are bugs in maize, beans, fruits, tubers and vegetable and we eat them consciously or unconsciously. Eating of insects has been an old long practise among people in Africa and Asia and has historically been consider part of a healthy diet.
